IT Planning and Facilitation

Strategic Planning – Most companies have a vision, goals and a plan. Many departments or business units within those companies have plans that roll up to the master plan.

But, what good are those plans if the projects addressing problems and opportunities of the business aren't properly aligned with the master plan.

Our approach is to ensure that the strategic plan, goals, and objectives of the business are aligned with the projects that are happening or going to happen. Not only from a high level perspective but also in the details of the project. The actual solution and implementation of the solution must align or the project will fail.

There are several tools and techniques that we use to accomplish this alignment and we work with companies to establish competency in these areas (if they don't have them already) to ensure alignment between the business and projects.

  1. Project Portfolio Management (PPM) development
  2. Strategic plan review and development
  3. Facilitated technical planning sessions
  4. Information technology assessments
  5. Technical architecture review and planning

Information Technology Expertise – We know technology in addition to understanding business goals and objectives. We constantly evaluate technology solutions to know what's available in the market so we know what paths to explore when developing an improvement solution.

We are seasoned in IT projects and at aligning projects to the strategic plan of the organization.  Let us help ensure your process improvement projects are aligned and executed to meet the business needs.
