Mission

Our mission is to do meaningful work by leading and inspiring the ability in people.

• Through business process assessment, analysis and improvement, we will inspire others to work efficiently while ensuring they are enabled to perform the "ongoing operations" of their business without having to rely on others.

To understand this, we need to define what we consider a project versus ongoing operations:

• project - a temporary endeavor that produces a unique product, service or outcome.
• ongoing operations - work that repeatedly produces the product or service of a company or job function 

We can illustrate our mission best through an example:

Many small companies rely on a 3rd party to develop and implement a website ("project"). It has been our experience that many of these 3rd parties do not provide all the tools, knowledge or access to enable the process owners to update and maintain their own website. Thus they continually pay the 3rd party to make changes ("ongoing operations") when they could be doing this themselves.

The "project" is creating the website and creating the processes to maintain it.

The "ongoing operations" are the updates to the website including content, pictures, etc. that are part of someone's job function to perform.

Granted there are certain skills needed to do some of these updates (e.g., flash), but many can be enabled through  tools commonly available (e.g., Dreamweaver). So, for example, if you want the keys to your website, we feel you should be given the keys to your website.

Our focus is on the "project" to enable the "ongoing operations" of our customers.

Our Vision

Our vision is working with our customers to help them become more efficient and self-sufficient. We accomplish this by using technology, tools, and knowledge transfer through successful business process improvements.

Our Consulting Philosophy

Our goal is to help our customers become more self-sufficient. We'll work with you to determine if and how much ongoing outside services commitment is needed and then we'll work with you to meet those goals. Those who have worked with us comment on how transparent we are. There are no hidden agendas, no secret tools, but rather an open sharing of our process and knowledge.

We focus on tools, training, and knowledge transfer to prepare you to perform once a project is complete. This gives us the opportunity to work on the next project and enables our customers to specialize in the ongoing operations with their expertise.
